9.0This home was FANTASTIC! We were in for Baseball HOF induction ceremony weekend and couldn't get near town - this house is only 50 min from Cooperstown and a gorgeous country road drive. I'm thrilled we found this quiet spot away from the baseball craziness... the Lake Moraine/Hamilton area is absolutely beautiful, and there's plenty to do - farmers markets, antiquing, state parks, Colgate campus, brewery, homemade ice cream, golfing - all nearby! The home was clean and comfortable. We had 6 adults, so with two bedrooms it was a little tight for our group but it worked. The deck has stunning views of the lake and we had a lot of fun on the kayaks. Between the great room and the deck, there was enough space for us all to spread out and enjoy. Bathrooms were small but there were two of them, so that was great! We love to cook, and the kitchen was well equipped but could use some more cooking knives and cutting boards but it had most of the basics you need. Our host Christian was responsive and friendly - even left a bottle of wine (which of course we enjoyed!) Thanks for a great weekend!
