Amazing views. Comfortable beds. Nicely built. Clean and tidy.

− Attitude of staff was poor. Possibly due to us booking through booking.com and the consequences of that. A flurry of messages came in after the non refundable booking was made warning about construction near the hut and no outdoor bathtub for two bedroom units. When we followed up to see if we could cancel because of this, the response was no. Would recommend checking before booking about construction. Also, if you go to book a one bedroom unit with an outside tub and none are available, but an option for a two bedroom shows up as an alternative, don’t assume it will also have an outside tub. Weirdly, clean towels were left in the dining table, not placed in the bathroom and bed wasn’t tidied etc. When paying close to $600/night these are things that you would expect to be done.

The location of this property is amazing. It’s close to everything, but it’s quiet and well organised. The staff here are friendly and really helpful.

Absolutely perfect location right on the gorgeous lake! The heating was great, check-in/out was seamless and was an incredibly comfortable room.

Perfect for a short stay at Lake Tekapo

Location was on a hill overlooking the lake, we stayed in a two bedroom lodge which was very clean and warm. Bed was comfortable with very hot powerful shower. Great views as you are higher than any other property so not overlooked at all. Good facilities within the lodge.

− Car parking is on a flat level, then there is a walk up a steep hill to the lodge (this is explained in the emails sent from the property),not great for some one with limited mobility. Parking would be so much better if you could park directly beside the lodge.
