I stayed at this beautiful property while getting ready for our wedding, and from the moment we arrived, we knew it was somewhere truly special. Beautifully designed, impeccably maintained and incredibly peaceful, it provided the perfect setting to begin one of the most important days of our lives. It quickly became much more than just a place to stay. We returned after our ceremony to have many of our wedding photographs taken there because the property and its surroundings were simply stunning. In fact we loved it so much that we decided to spend our wedding night there too, and we couldn’t have imagined a more perfect way to end such an unforgettable day. The owner has clearly poured an enormous amount of care and passion into every aspect of the property. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, from the high-quality furnishings to the little finishing touches that made us feel so welcome. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Sam was warm, professional, incredibly accommodating, and genuinely invested in making our stay as special as possible. This property will always hold a special place in our hearts because it became part of our wedding story. The memories we made there will stay with us for a lifetime, and we cannot recommend it highly enough. If you’re looking for somewhere truly exceptional, this is it.

Beautiful location

Prachtig en uniek plekje

Het is echt een prachtig gebouw. Van buiten kan het zo een oud Iers kerkje zijn. De woonkamer heeft enorme ramen die uitkijken op een vijver en tuin. De slaapkamers zijn groot en de bedden liggen heerlijk. Het verblijf ligt redelijk dicht tegen een weg en ik slaap slecht met geluid 's nachts. Maar we hebben de hele week in de slaapkamer aan de kant van de weg geslapen en ik had nergens last van. Hoewel het huis erg groot is, voelt het toch heel gezellig. Alles is sfeervol aangekleed en ingericht. De douche is echt heerlijk, echt goede waterdruk en goed warm. Dat is vrij uniek in Ierland hebben we gemerkt. We hebben al op veel plekken in het buitenland verbleven en dit is waarschijnlijk het mooiste plekje dat we tot nu toe bezocht hebben. De host was vriendelijk en vroeg pro actief naar verbeterpunten, die hij ook direct zou oppakken. Bij de schoonmaak bleek de knop van een radiator op de slaapkamer kapot gegaan te zijn, waardoor deze niet meer uit kon. Hij heeft dit direct dezelfde dag nog opgelost. Daarnaast is Ballymena een ideale uitvalsbasis voor een bezoek aan Noord(oost)-Ierland. Je bent binnen het uur bij de meeste bezienswaardigheden aan de kust en in een dik halfuur in Belfast. Wij hebben ervan genoten en kunnen dit iedereen aanraden!

− Wij zijn vooral heel positief over deze plek en kunnen hem iedereen aanraden! Voor andere gezelschappen is er misschien een aandachtspuntje: Er is slechts één toilet, op de bovenverdieping. Voor ons als stel geen enkel probleem. Maar er past prima een groot gezelschap of een gezin met kinderen in dit verblijf en dan kan het misschien lastig zijn.

Fantastic location for the event we were attending. The facilities in the property were amazing. everything you could possibly want. Great amenities just a walk away from the property.

− There was nothing to complain about. I just wish we had been staying longer. If anything maybe a slightly later checkout time but i understand the need for staff to come in for a turn around.
