− Our experience with this property was deeply disappointing due to the owner's unprofessional and hostile behavior during the checkout process. When an issue arose regarding a missing pot cover—an item we hadn't even used during our stay—we approached the situation reasonably by suggesting the cost simply be deducted from our security deposit to settle the matter fairly. However, instead of a professional resolution, we were met with unnecessary rudeness and a defensive attitude. What was most off-putting was how the owner began listing every favor they had done for us—such as driving us to a shop and to a family member's home—as a way to guilt-trip us and deflect from the issue at hand. It felt as though any previous "kindness" was not offered sincerely, but rather stored as leverage to be used against us the moment a disagreement arose. Being told "you don't appreciate" their help simply because we wanted a professional business transaction regarding the deposit was uncalled for. Bringing up past favors in such a transactional and resentful manner completely soured the experience and made it clear that guest satisfaction is not their genuine priority.
