Zero privacy, fasle ad, stay away

The location is ok, but there are too many Negatives to talk about the positives. The ad says you are renting an entire house but it is set up like dorm room and you’re only allowed one room use. There is zero privacy… there is a CCTV camera in the common area inside the house that is active. And there’s a grounds keeper that just comes in and out as he wants. He took the aircon remote for 2 days with the unit off… it gets quite hot.

− The hot water heater in the shower trips the breaker that is located to high to reset without a step stool. There is zero privacy and all the window drapes are open even the shower room and the grounds keeper is always walking around the outside of the house and even inside at times. Zero privacy. The cctv camera in the living room is active. Didn’t stop me from being comfortable… the owners can enjoy the view of my naked butt if they want.

They let me check in a few hours early, is a clean place and very secure and safe neighbourhood. Bed and bedding was very clean and comfortable, nice plants all around the yard. Caretaker keeps in very clean.

− 1. The ad is very misleading you are not renting an entire house. You are renting a bedroom in a house, it may be shared with others. After a few days my "entire home" had a couple as guests. (They were cool but also were mislead by the ad in the same way I was). 2. Security camera INSIDE the living area, caretaker looks in the windows. Not an entire/private home as advertised. Karen style notes all over the place, at least 5 if not more no smoking signs inside. It's obviously a non-smoking place I get it. Among other signage all over the place. 3. Bedroom power outlet has the option of AC or TV, not like you'd ever want to watch tv while its 80% humidity and 30c+, many notes about the AC. If you charge hotel prices don't trouble your guests with the cost of AC if people want to leave for a few hours and come back to a cool room that's their right. 4. Caretaker is always there and hovers around saw him looking in the windows a few times, makes a big show of waving at the camera in living room and in smoking area as well as on the balcony. I had booked 6 nights after a few hours I was considering just staying somewhere else. I think he means well, but it made me uncomfortable for sure. 5. I was offered a ride to the airport when leaving which I thought was very kind, I was told upon checking out that I would receive my damage deposit "later", so we get to the airport and the lady that drove me was going to withhold 300php. I was in shock and she said "oh my sister didn't tell you?". It's a 75php ride at maximum and I never asked for the ride. This would be in the what I like section if it wasn't for this attempted nonsense, I got my deposit back. 6. Small gripe but the bedroom key and lockset are garbage. Key is paper thin easy to damage, had to borrow the neighbours pliers to straighten it after the first use because the key just started twisting.

The Cameras ruined the stay the the promised whole apartment was NOT made available.

− There are camera's in the living space which I were very obtrusive especially as there are no on suit bath facilities The owners refused to disable the cameras. The advert said whole house - but only two rooms were made available - making it cramped.
