Really Nice Apartment but hire a car!
9.0A really stunning apartment with everything you need, including dishwasher, washing machine, oven. Sleeps 4 comfortably. Really close to the ski lift. Lovely deli downstairs, but no other shops in Borgata. Great ski area even though the lifts are quite old and the mountain restaurants were not great. The benefit was that it is not as busy as some of the more touristy resorts.
− Bogarta is very quiet with one or two restaurants and no apre ski or night life. The bus comes very infrequently and you have to call ahead otherwise it doesn't come. You can't walk to Sestriere. You need a car. There was a warning in the apartment about overloading and tripping the power, but not what to do if it happens. It happened to us at night, but thankfully we were eventually able to locate the electric room in the basement to reset the power. The staff of Hostdomus are very unresponsive and unhelpful. If I hadn't pushed them for my deposit, I'm not sure I would have got it back (it took a month).
