9.0There was a large amount of firewood available for us to use and it was needed as it was a cold weekend and there is no other heating in the home. The fire was excellent and heated the whole home . Every little detail was offered from extra condiments ( if really needed) and tea/ coffee. Lots of cleaning gear available if needed - bin bags, toilet paper, hand wash, dishwashing fluid, towels. And a great coffee machine station.
− Would have liked access to a bigger vaccum cleaner to avoid bending over 😉 Coffee machine water tray overflows quickly. ( not a deal breaker) appreciate having it .

9.0Gorgeous view, great location, easy access. Great communication by the host. The house is well equipped with heaters, lots of pantry items and cooking equipment.
− Some extra blankets during winter would be fab
Gorgeous Home in American River
10.0Gorgeous location in the heart of beautiful American River. Coming back to the warm fireplace after a day of exploring was extra special. Gorgeous sunrises over Pelican Lagoon watching the swans and pelicans. Great, well equipped house.

10.0Great location, lots of space, loved the fire, excellent well stocked kitchen. Everything you need for a comfortable stay.
− Nothing, except the bed could have done with a topper - a little firm and could feel the join of the beds. Not a deal breaker but would have made it super excellent.
Nice location to stay. Facilities are good specially kitchen ones.
