The staff are amazing but the noise made me crazy.
6.0The staff (including the lovely Manager and owner), were fantastic. They gave me the best room they possibly could. It was such a spacious lovely room and had everything I needed. They did everything they could to help me and I really appreciate it.
− The noise and construction was the biggest issue. When I arrived they had construction workers working throughout the hotel, so I couldn't sit in the communal area. Also, there was a huge family group which arrived and they partied through the evening until 4am. It felt like I was in a nightclub. I asked the Manager at 3am to speak to them, but this didn't make a difference. I couldn't sleep and the communal area is in the middle of the hotel. Also, there was a puppy tied up which kept barking, so by the fourth day I couldn't handle all the noise anymore. As a foreigner, I think I couldn't return here as the concept of noise in Vietnamese culture seems totally different. If I knew there was construction there, I would not have stayed.

10.0Everything was great, except... a mistake was made by the driver for an early morning tour. At 4:30 am I was ready to be picked up, but no driver. Oof! When I spoke with the receptionist, she immediately got on the phone, figured out the problem (new driver) and more than made up for the mistake that wasn't even the hotel's fault. Extremely kind. Plus, everything else was comfortable and lovely. This place is wonderful! I highly recommend.
