Very enjoyable two night stay.
9.0Whilst I never met the owners, they were exceptionally helpful before, and during, our stay: especially with their pre-arrival information & via their kind provision of lots of 'welcome provisions', cross checked with us for our preferences. It was a perfect base for accessing family events held nearby.

6.0Location was perfect for our needs. Great village feel plenty of eateries within a short distance. The welcome pack was good and good selection of local products. Well stocked with items for everyday living. Pots pans washing machine etc Spacious master bedroom. Parking was good. House was clean and well stocked with towels etc. Host contacted us to see all was well.
− Overwhelmed with the rules and regulations for the cottage.Many of the rules were just common sense and totally unnecessary to have to reinforce. I appreciate not everyone's going to be morally sound or considerate. Felt as though unable to fully relax. The cottage we are now staying in has an a4 pice of paper with all the info I need in 8 paragraphs and 115 words in total. Nearly cancelled our stay at mill cottage on start date as we received an overly restrictive list of do's and dont's. Didn't feel comfortable with cctv cameras watching our coming and goings. The heating was remotely controlled by the host. Bed was too soft though this is subjective. Advertised as pet friendly but the host didn't want the dog using the garden (understandably in certain circumstances) For an eco house lots of overloaded sockets with items on standby. We left the place as we found it, except for the grab handle in the shower which fell off so we put on a shelf. A brief thanks would have been appreciated .

10.0The cottage is really comfortable, clean and very well supplied, so no need to pop out to shops soon after you arrive. Having some great breakfast options supplied goes well beyond what what you'd expect for cottage rental.
