Charming and Spacious 1 BR flat in Battersea

ik heb uitermate genoten van mijn verblijf. Ik ga dit zeker terug opnieuw boeken.

het appartement is enorm gezellig ingericht en ligt, voor mij dan toch, op een ideale plek in Londen. Je mixt hier eerder met de locals en geen toeristische overrompelling. Om de hoek is een leuk straatje met coffeshops enz. en met het openbaar vervoer (trein in Clapham Junction nar het centrum en dan the tube naar waar je maar wil) sta je op +/- 30 à 40minuten in hartje londen. vlak bij Battersea Power Station, één van de nieuwe hotspots in Londen. ik voelde me er onmiddellijk thuis!

− als je niet te veel met het openbaar vervoer wil reizen dan ligt het net iets te ver uit het centrum. Er waren geen wijnglazen in het appartement. men zou van het tuintje ook nog echt iets moois kunnen maken.

It was a beautiful apartment and had everything I needed. Location was great. It was super clean and had all the facilities needed. Instructions were very clear and the host was very responsive. Access is super easy. The apartment is very private given the separate entrance. Would stay again if the host makes sure the apartment is actually heated - see below.

− I came in the middle of the night and had problems with the key lock, so it took me forever to get in (which was probably my fault because I didn't understand that you had to push two buttons simultaneously to open the key box). However, the electricity was off and it was freezing cold (13.5 C) with no warm water and it took a whole day to heat up. Even though the instructions to turn on electricity and heating were very clear, arriving in a cold apartment with no warm water during the winter time is frustrating. In addition, it is a bit loud. You hear every step of the neighbors upstairs as if they were walking around in your apartment. But this is a common phenomenon in London, so it isn't really a disadvantage of this apartment specifically.
