Amazing Location, not clean enough and not well equipped to cook to drink in.

Amazing Location in Plymouth, host was helpful, but the property isn’t up to how it should be.

− Badly equipped. Rubbish left on arrival. Issues getting in at start and once checking out locked out. Dirty unusable pans in kitchen. Not enough glasses. Not left with any toilet roll. Tv with no signal and no smart tv. Very loud in mornings and no blackout blinds

Great location

− Some difficulties accessing the property with the owner. This was eventually sorted but could have been better. I would have expected toilet roll to be provided and there was only one small bathroom and toilet for 6 adults. This was notade clear in the property description. Some windows could.not be opened, which made it quite warm in the hot weather

Great location but some issues inside property

Very close to the Barbican area where there are lots of bars and restaurants. Close enough to walk into the main shopping area and to the Lido. The area is gorgeous. The house is well decorated. The house was fairly clean but more attention to detail is needed. The kitchen was well stocked, and the dishwasher was a bonus. Lots of parking around, try 'Just Park' to get a cheap deal within walking distance.

− There was an odd smell when you first entered, but this didn't spread to the upper floors. There was clothing left behind from previous guests on the back of the 1st bedroom door, which made me question the cleaning in that room. There is no tv with streaming service in the property, although it is advertised as having this service. We really struggled to get a signal on our first night. Wires spread across the room so we could watch the World Cup whilst having a takeaway after a long drive. This was really inconvenient for us, and although we raised the issue with the owner, the only solution was to put the aerial in the window. We were offered a firestick the next day and were told it would be there by lunch time but when we got back from being out, it wasn't there and we couldn't be bothered with the hassle of installing it later in the day. The owner was responsive, but we shouldn't have had to contact him at all about this as he knows it is an issue based on previous reviews. The noise at night was bad. The windows do not close properly in the bedroom next to the bathroom. Music was blasting outside until gone 2am. I imagine it would be very cold in the winter. We have a victorian house with similar windows that are also protected, and there are ways to repair and maintain them without breaching planning rules. The beds were also uncomfortable. Mattresses too soft and dipping in the middle. The place needs deep clean. door frames and carpets in particular. The sofa was also very old and dirty. There is nowhere to hang clothes. The issues that I have raised have been mentioned many times in reviews over the past few years. Maybe one day, they will be rectified. These are small changes that could make a stay in this property great.

Great apartment. 3 beds in 3 different bedrooms. All facilities were good and in a central location

− No hairdryer 😂 and the place is a bit like a maze with a few steps to get to the toilet and top. It didn't bother us just if you're not good on your feet

A única coisa boa é localização

− De primeira vc não tem privacidade, pois há uma loja embaixo da casa que so divide a entrada com uma grade, há uma camera virada para dentro da entrada, que em todos os casos a camera fica na porta da casa virada para a rua, em específico nessa casa é para dentro. E nos andares de cima nao ha uma porta, quando sobe as escadas ja da acesso a um quarto e a cozinha, não achei seguro. E a pior coisa é o odor de morfo, que é muito forte! Assim que entramos na casa, já ligamos para o booking para cancelar a reserva, e os anfitriões não queria cancelar e foram super arrogantes quando liguei para reclamar, depois de várias tentativas, cancelaram a reserva e cobraram 200£ mesmo nao ficado 5minutos na casa. Por fim alugamos outro apartamento, e saímos de la.

− Rooms are spread across 3 floors, rented for older people, does not say on listing that it is 3 story flat, knew it was above a shop so only assumed one set of stairs. Bathroom is on top floor Booked for 6 people but only 4 cups No where to store or hang clothes
