The free parking and location

− I am not one to write reviews as I always seem too busy to write good reviews therefore feel its unfair to leave negative reviews but I shall make an exception in this case due to the complete lack of disregard booking.com have to helping their consumers including the CEO who doesn't even acknowledge his emails. Beware that booking.com is based in the Netherlands, therefore, they are not bound by the same laws set out in the UK. This is why I believe they completely disregard customer complaints and use AI bots to 'answer' any emails. This property was booked for my mother's 60th birthday with our family. Both Mum and Dad have mobility issues with Mum having MS and Dad Heart Failure and Parkinsons. As you can imagine, we were looking for very specific requirements for our stay, and the above property seemed to tick all the boxes. Our specifications were: Ground floor accommodation for my parents. Extra space for the rest of us to relax in the evening to give our parents a rest. Hot tub for Mum to relax her muscles and joints, which also would give the children in our party a place to relax and 'play'. The above property listing and our issues: SEPERATE GROUND FLOOR STUDIO APARTMENT: I had called the host/manager prior to our arrival (also prior to payment being taken) to ensure that the ground floor studio also included a bathroom/shower room and I was advised that it did. When we arrived, I was shocked to see that, yes indeed there was a ground floor shower room. However, no bed in sight. I did call the host/manager, and he advised that they changed the layout and offered to get someone to move a bed. I asked why this wasn't made clear on the call and why the description wasn't changed. He explained that booking.com properties are unable to change the description, and he was confused when I called about the bathroom.

The size and location, the kids loved the hot tub

− It needs a bit of a bit of a paint job , the doors slam and a couple of the beds were a little uncomfortable

A fantastic location and lovely house for a family getaway. The hot tub was a brilliant addition and we had plenty of room for everyone in the spacious house. Highly recommend!

Holiday with family mums 80th Rooms were fab Be warned stairs to higher floor was very steep Ground floor apartment stunning open up to a very large garden

− Shower leaked from upstairs into en suite room Just be warned Past guest had left a mess in the garden which was ahane to find

Excellent location Very spacious

− It didn’t spoil our holiday but there was nowhere to hang clothes in some of the rooms and nowhere to hang towels in any of the bathrooms need some hooks on each of the doors to dry them off
