Lovely and spacious, bathroom a bit on the small side, no bath, everything else brilliant! Milk in the fridge, biscuits ready as was an assortment of teas and coffees. Within walking distance of everything, steam train, Town centre and eating places

The location is excellent; less than 200m from a great beach for swimming and a short stroll into town along a safe promenade. The single beds are hard and exceptionally comfy. Most of the flat felt newly decorated and fitted out, and the power shower was most welcome after a sea swim. The flat heats up quickly when it is sunny, but opening windows front and back allows a good throughflow of air which creates a very pleasant temperature. We appreciated plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits, as well as milk in the fridge. A marked parking bay at the rear of the property was most welcome, as parking is tricky in that part of town.

− We were only given one set of keys, and the reason given was that if we lost a set, the locks would need to be changed. This made no sense at all. When asked what they suggested we do if two of us went out separately, there was nothing offered. We had two extra keys cut in town which allowed us to enjoy our holiday, and handed them back in at the end. We were bombarded with emails in the run up to the stay. 2 each on 16 May,6,22,26 and 28 June. All of them said the same thing, but still needed reading to see if anything was new. The critical information about the code to the key box at the office never reached us though. Communication with guests can be improved a lot. The kitchen is tired and could do with a refresh to bring it up to the standards of the rest of the flat. The knives were dangerously blunt. The freezer was not properly clean on arrival. (The rest of the flat was spotless though) The road at the front is the main route into Swanage and can get noisy at times, however the bedrooms are usefully sited at the back next to a quiet alley. The biggest problem was the poor soundproofing between flats. We could hear doors closing above, below and to the side, as well at TVs and conversations. Luckily other residents/ guest were not rowdy, but there was still enough irritation to undermine the experience.
