Disappointing two night stay
6.0The room was recently renovated and the bed comfortable. The bathroom is tiny but the shower exceptional!
− 1. The Inn is located at the junction of two busy roads with traffic racing by through the night! There is no double glazing on the roadside window and so the noise is very loud. The hotel gives you earplugs but these only help marginally! In the extreme heat not having a window open isn’t an option which makes the problem much worse 2. Breakfast is a small continental breakfast with limited choice. Pastries were burnt and there weren’t enough for all guests. This seemed to be the only inn locally not offering a cooked breakfast too! 3. Pub food was okay but disappointing given that it is advertised as an Inn offering food with rooms…
A good experience in a lovely place.
9.0The staff were helpful and accommodating. I requested a takeaway breakfast and one included allergies. This was done with no problem and we had plenty to eat. The staff then took the time to check if we needed a takeaway breakfast the next morning also.
− It was a shame we couldn’t eat at the venue but it was a Monday and Tuesday evening so wasn’t available. They did however direct us to places we could eat at.

10.0Breakfast was absolutely fantastic. Lovely and relaxing start to the day. Beautifully laid out range of food exceeded what we expected. Smoked salmon, cured meats, cheese, local breads and honey, jams, croissants, yoghurts, fruits, range of cereals. Fruit juice, tea and latte brought to our table. Eggs scrambled or fried can be cooked fresh, but not needed. Room absolutely perfect. Large comfy bed and beautiful bathroom with shower. Immaculately clean everywhere. Gorgeous and spacious well maintained and laid out garden area to sit outside too. Location perfect for us outside Hereford. Staff were fantastic. Thank you 😊

− On main A road and very busy with large agricultural traffic at peak times. Quiet overnight so we had no sleeping problems

− Noisy road outside but not the New Inns fault ( they even supply ear plugs )
