3.0The house is big. The wooden construction looks very nice.
− The entrance is via a poorly marked , muddy clay track. You will need a proper 4WD vehicle or you will get stuck when it rains. Electricity ( and water for washing and showers etc ) is via a generator that only works a few hours a day . You cannot cook or use the fridge when the power turns off. At night when the generator is off , there is no power and therefore you cannot shower. Total darkness . No power and consequently no working fans; no wifi , no tv .. etc and the rooms get very hot . Unpleasant.

Absolute Blissful!
9.0The property was a perfect fit for our family of 7! The rooms were spacious the lounging and dining area was superb. The direct view into the ocean made sunrises and sunsets truly special. The host was always available to assist and having someone cook breakfast was an absolute privilege - thanks Florinda! (Having a car rental is a must.)
− At times we didn’t appreciate the vast number of stray dogs than wandered the grounds but we came to understand this is common in São Tomé. For people who may not speak the language they could feel slightly uncomfortable by the people that live and often hang around close to the property. However we had no issues. Having 24/7 security provided extra reassurance.
