That everything had been thought of regarding kitchen equipment. The dishwasher was a god send. Lovely garden. Good stock of bedding and towels. The BBQ was useful too.The owner was easy to contact and responded to our queries very quickly

− Although this can not be changed the road was extremely loud and as we slept in the front of the house woke us up very early each morning .Also the weather was extremely hot and a fan or two would have been appreciated

The location was good; the large old house was very comfortable with good sized bedrooms (good beds); excellent, large bathrooms with bath/ showers and a lovely big well fitted kitchen; plenty of hot water. Our family enjoyed the hot tub. * Host kindly agreed to our suggestion of us moving a single bed down to the smaller sitting room for an elderly person with mobility problems

− The garden was generally overgrown, with foliage covering the sitting room window and trying to creep through the front door - this spoilt our first impression. Reception rooms were very dark (unlike photos). No mention of accessibility to upstair rooms for an elderly person with mobility issues*

Adequate for a holiday base but not my favourite.

Good sized farmhouse with great farmhouse kitchen. Perfect for three families. Nice garden for kids and jacuzzi a bonus

− Unhappy that description doesn’t make it clear that property is on a busy and noisy A road. No mention of old house covered in scaffolding next door. General attention to detail low and felt lacked a bit of love and attention.

Great getaway for large groups

This is the perfect getaway for a group of friends! The property itself is beautiful and is deceptively huge inside. The hot tub, bbq and benches in the garden were perfect for a sunny day spent with friends. All of the rooms were comfortable, there were plenty of bathrooms and we had everything we needed. It’s secluded enough that you have your own space but within walking distance of the local village. Would 100% stay again!
