Size and location near Durham perfect. Ensuites a bonus. Perfect for celebrating with large group.
7.0We loved the inside size of the property for our party and the outside garden at the back was super with lots of options for outside dining and play. It was a bonus to all have our own en-suites. The beautiful and very large dining room table and kitchen were great for our group. Plenty of parking space. Loved the hot tub, gym and sauna - these make this property unique. Really appreciated the lovely and thoughtful welcome pack and the very kind and generous congratulations card and bottle of fizz.
− A beautifully large home overlooking fields at the rear but very close to electric pylons and mobile phone mast. One of the rooms has a double bed, bunk beds and an open plan bathtub and toilet which are right next to the double bed. Better pictures and descriptions of bedroom layouts on property listing needed. No handrails in walk in showers - floor tiles and shower trays can be slippy. Floor tiles in bathrooms loose/cracked and need updating/repairing. Some of the rooms had no bedside table lights. Kitchen - needs the essentials like salt, foil, cling film. Some pan lids missing and not enough pans and utensils for cooking for a large group. Games room amazing but sadly we only had 1 night to use it and, without the ability to plug in the air hockey table, we couldn't use it - extension lead needed. Eco Dryer - no instructions provided. Took significant amount of our time trying to work out how to use it and messaging with host (need to have a dryer that is more user friendly and practical for short stays). TVs - not all of them were working/connecting to channels. Engineer had to come out and took quite a bit of time getting only some of them working. A light bulb was flickering in one of the living rooms - host told us not to use it. A lovely house that needs the basics checked properly between guests.
