Location great, having a parking space handy

− Rubbish all over the front of the property on moving in. We cleared this up. Top floor shower had no hot water. This had been reported in a review on Booking.com a month before we stayed. We reported this straight away as it hadn’t been fixed. Wasn’t sorted by the time we left. Doesn’t feel right to advertise a property with two bathrooms/showers when the owner knows one isn’t working and does nothing about it. We asked for a small refund to acknowledge these issues. The owner has ignored us for over three weeks. Disappointing.

Lage des Hauses in Kingston

− Kein warmes Wasser in der Dusche , Heizkörper kalt, schmutziges Geschirr in der Spülmaschine, verschimmelter Biomüll im Abfalleimer, trotz Hinweis auf alles kamen immer Nachfragen aber nichts wurde repariert, der Parkplatz war zu klein für das Auto !!

The location is great. 10 minutes from the station and about 15 mins to the middle of Kingston. We were there for a family wedding so it worked well for what we needed.

− The accommodation was adequate, but not fabulous. The stairs are really steep so if you have small children I would recommend taking a travel stairgate. Communication with the owners was slow and we were only told the day before we left that we couldn’t have a late check out despite requesting one 6 weeks earlier. It would have been helpful to know earlier. Also we couldn’t get the hob to work and despite them sending two manuals for different cookers we didn’t manage to sort it out for the duration.

Didn’t live up to the expectations set by online photos. Needs some maintenance done.

Good location.

− Shower bath were not working well, no hot water coming from them - thermostatic controls were seized and didn’t change water temperature. Had to bath kids each. Ight by bringing kettle of hot water from kitchen. Stair case exceptionally steep and dangerous for young children. Door key was broken so I couldn’t open the door on arrival, they did give me access to the spare key safe so we got in, but one of the spare keys also bent so couldn’t properly fully lock the property during our stay. Photos online looked very nice, taken when the property was originally renovated guessing a few years ago. Property much more ‘tired’ inside. When we booked we were looking forward to staying as online it looked great, unfortunately the experience of actually being there was disappointing.

Great place clean and well presented

− I was not aware of a £300 deposit until i had paid in full for the accommodation, and, we were not given the lock box details, until the deposit was paid, in full, the deposit was debited immediately from my account, we checked out on the 12th September, the deposit still has not been repaid.

Lovely house in a nice area and close to the transport links for central London. House was welcoming and clean.

− Didn't apply to us, but the stairs to the bedrooms on the upper two floors are quite steep, so if you have issues with stairs this is not the house for you. The photos don't show the stairs, so it's worth noting, as there is no bedroom or wc on the ground floor.
