It was clean, good value for money with free parking and close to tube station

− It was very basic but practical. If you just need a base with easy access into the city centre, it's perfect.

Close to station and amenities.

− The host was not very communicative. Most of my messages were met with a simple "OK," and he was quite abrupt over the phone. The only welcoming comment he made was, "Let me know if you need anything." The studio was organised, with some towels, toilet roll, a hair dryer, 2 pillows and a top sheet, and tea and coffee provided in the kitchen. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was not up to an acceptable standard. The bedsheets did not appear to have been washed at all. There were what looked like shoe marks on the top sheet, as well as dried dirt stains and a significant amount of hair, not only on the bedding but also inside the bed drawers. There were sweet wrappers around the bed, and every surface was dusty with dried drink spills. The shower doors and floor were dirty, and the bathroom sink also contained hairs. We barely used the kitchen, so I can't comment on it in detail. The studio is directly connected to the host's home by a door behind the fridge, so you can hear everything happening in the house throughout the day and night, including conversations, footsteps, cooking, and showering. I imagine they can hear you just as easily. The bedroom blinds could not be fully opened because they had been tied up, possibly because they had fallen previously. There was also a leak in the kitchen ceiling, and we woke up one morning to find a puddle of water on the floor. Overall the studio was not well maintained during our stay, which was extremely disappointing. Based on the previous reviews, I expected a much cleaner and better-maintained property. It felt as though the studio had either not been cleaned before our arrival or that this was the standard of cleanliness considered acceptable for the price we paid. If you're simply looking for an affordable place to sleep for a few nights and aren't concerned about cleanliness, it may still suit your needs, as it has good transport links to central London.

− Electric kettle has lots of unsightly lime scale so I couldn't use it.

It was lovely staying here and the host, Syed, made me feel very welcomed, and was also very helpful - a very pleasant man. You have sole use of a kitchen and washing machine, lots of local shops and restaurants, transport and tube trains are very close-by, I would definitely recommend staying here.
