DO NOT BOOK
1.0− We booked this property because it was located nearby the wedding venue. When we arrived the house smelt weird, as if it has been closed for a very long time. Then it became weirder as we found peepholes on every bedroom door, camera lenses looking inside the rooms and focusing on the beds. We instantly thought the house was (or probably still is) booked to conduct illicit adult-only businesses as it provides a convenient and retired location nearby the highway. When we asked for an explanation from the agency they first lied to us and then gave a very vague reason “the peepholes were built with the house and cannot be used anymore “. Big fat lie: they can indeed be used as they are just lenses.Still they didn’t provide any reasonable explanation. Then there were a couple of looked doors inside the house, one of which les to the stairs leading downstairs, locked but could be open from the inside the stairs, so basically anyone could have entered the house from the other side. Then a couple of more issues: the bathroom light didn’t work and we could never use the bathroom or shower in the evening, the small toilet door was coming off the frame and didn’t close and last but not least we found a dirty used sock on the side of one of the beds meaning that the cleaning of the house isn’t really conducted properly whilst the agency makes you pay a non-negotiable cleaning fee. When we asked for a refund to be able to check-out they didn’t respond until much later meaning we couldn’t move elsewhere. DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY
