9.0Steve was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area, Treated us as friends tater than clients. Very clean , breakfasts made to order and the cottage has a lot of history. Would definitely recommend

Fantastic 2 day stay in a perfect location.
10.0Steve and Sharon were lovely and friendly and went out of their way for us, even provided a birthday cake for our friends birthday. Lovely quiet location, lovely bedroom and facilities. Breakfast amazing and so much choice. Very nice feel about the place. Nice garden to sit in.

10.0Everything. The Location, Breakfast, Accommodation. The hosts where very friendly and welcoming and they even very kindly surprised us with a baked cake for my husbands Birthday.

9.0Steve was a great host. Breakfast was scrumptious, lots of toast, and Steve cooked everything well. Large comfy bed. Great location, good for walking and nice pubs. Didn't use our car during our stay, nice walk to Tarn Howe and then to Coniston. Lovely walk to Wray Castle along the shores of Lake Windermere. There's an ice cream and chocolate shop in the village, also 3 pubs all doing excellent food with friendly staff.

10.0Steve and Sharon were very welcoming, wealth of knowledge for cycle routes:-) Breakfast was delicious, room was lovley, comfortable. Location couldn't have been better!
