Not luxurious in the slightest.
1.0The location. It felt rural enough but also semi-walkable to nearby towns.
− We had many issues and have pictures of everything that went wrong! Hygiene and maintenance were very poor. The spa filter was filthy, the shower head scaled, and I became unwell after using the spa. Bathroom flooded with no way to clean it. Fittings broke, bed was uncomfortable, and outdoor areas were overgrown. Basic self-catering items were missing and we had to buy more hangers. Overall, not the luxury stay advertised and very disappointing for a main holiday. The owners handled our complaint very poorly and haven’t resolved anything and have also ignored booking.com when they reached out on our behalf. Booking.com have given us a small gesture of goodwill, but this doesn’t nearly cover the inconvenience and lack of care and service we experienced from the owners after our visit. We are still trying to pursue a full refund.
