10.0Staff were incredible. Really attentive.
Gorgeous views.
10.0Many hotels make the mistake of putting piped music through the speakers all the time. Moonfleet is run by more intelligent people who realise that for most of the day it is not necessary and quiet calm is much better. Moonfleet also leaves one lounge completely quiet so that you can read or talk in peace. For the children there is a noisy playroom with a big screen, fine, no problem, keeps the kids amused. The rooms have been seriously upgraded in recent years and are very comfortable, excellent showers etc. Staff are as good as ever, they work really hard to give you a great time.
− There is really nothing to criticise but if you think really hard, one small improvement to consider over time might be to put in a shower next to the swimming pool so as to encourage everyone to shower before jumping in. That might mean some thinking about the arrangements, not so easy, but perhaps there is a way. One other small thing and I mean really small is to be able to walk from the main building to the swimming pool without picking up stones in your slippers. That is how good Moonfleet is that you have to come up with some ridiculously small item to find fault.
Lovely relaxing but too short

Absolutely Fabulous
10.0A fabulous hotel, especially for families, with so much to do for all ages. We were extremely impressed throughout our stay. Indoor swimming pools, very large games room. Including indoor footy pitch. Trampolines, snooker, soft play, video games. All free. Dinosaur Golf. Escape rooms, the list goes on. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and immaculately clean, with thoughtful touches like tea and coffee facilities and a handy under-counter fridge. The large en-suites were an added bonus. Breakfasts were lovely, and every staff member we encountered was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful—even the maintenance team. When we reported an issue with the toilet flush at breakfast, it was fixed before we returned to our room. The level of customer service was truly outstanding. We absolutely recommend this hotel. 😀
− Everything was fabulous

8.0Very good breakfast, buffet style for continental breakfast and order a cooked breakfast.
− The pool was closed and only opened for few hours for our last day. Also it closed at 6:00pm rather than 8:00pm as advertised. It would be great if they could provide boat access to Chesil beach from the hotel as you need to drive to the near town.

The indoor pool will be closed during the week for refurbishments from Monday morning and reopens Friday afternoon. This is taking place between the 10th - 21st June 2024.
