Lovely amenities, very comfortable.

Frustrating that the landlord wouldn’t assist with the wifi at the very least . And booking .com gave me 97$ voucher

Location

− There was mould in the blinds in master bedroom and rusted chains to use them. The floor waste was blocked so tried to shower until raw sewerage backed up through floor and sink. We were unable to login to the wifi . The cooktop was too hard to use and oven was rusted out .

Not up to standard for the price we paid. Disappointing.

The instructions for the keys were clear. Bed linen was clean. Pool looked good but too cold to use it. Wifi easy to access and TV was OK.

− Constant communication from the host about various aspects of the rules felt intrusive. We arrived after dark - poor lighting for the key lock and at the door. A movement activated light would improve this. There was no dish cloth in the kitchen - we had to use baby wipes. Only one small, thin tea towel. The trundle bed in one of the rooms is broken - we did not need it but beware if you do. The lino floor tiles were lifting and a trip hazard. Floors were sticky. Bathroom drainage was bad - shower water bubbled up in the hand basin and shower slow to drain. Toilet backed up - noted a plunger was there but no warning. Felt very unhygienic. Toilet seat didn't fit the toilet. No hand towel in bathroom- only a face washer. No hooks to hang anything on in the bathroom. Pleather lounge peeling and under fabric quite grotty. 2 steep steps into place not mentioned - they would not comply with any safety standards - no handrail either. Only power point in kitchen is behind the microwave so plugging in toaster was difficult. Only two power points. General lack of accessible power outlets and power boards provided. Main bins were overflowing and birds had been in them scattering rubbish. Things that were presented as for guests on arrival - three pomegranate tea bags provided, a packet of BBQ chips, some long life milk and a bottle of coke and various toiletries in the bathroom, all seemed to be items left behind by previous guests. Bed side lights in the front bedroom did not work and side tables not close to the bed. I tried to straighten an artwork and it was just hanging by a thread. I could not re hang it. The place felt tired and not well put together. No information about local area, shops , restaurants etc

The location

− - check in was after 3pm, we rocked up at 5:30pm and the cleaners were still cleaning - the aircon remote was shoved down the side of the lounge and we didn’t find it until we were cleaning for check out - there was an insulin syringe in the cupboard which was not cleaned up from previous people - the dishwasher was put on by the cleaners and they didn’t unpack it which meant we had to unpack dishes that weren’t ours - only 2 rolls of toilet paper when you knew there were 6 people staying - only 1 bin bag - wifi didn’t work - shower flooded

The place was absolutely lovely! Great location and space. Didn't notice the people upstairs at all the first day and night.

− Check out was at 10am, yet there was someone (presumably the owner) in the pool area all morning. We wanted a morning dip but this seemed uncomfortable with people around. They could have waited until after checkout.

The location was perfect as we needed somewhere close for our sporting. we enjoyed having the pool for the kids when they needed even tho it was cold they would still try. Spacious living space and dinning area, kitchen had everything. Plenty of room space to accommodate for everyone. Washing machine and dryer came in handy, glad we had those type of facilities. Accommodates for children which I really loved, when it came to bedding they were all set with what was provided. Plenty of towels. Loved that wifi was provided.

− I wasn’t fully aware of the arrangement of the property which totally threw me off but that was okay everything was fine. I had to clean the shower myself as I noticed it had mould and was not cleaned properly before we had arrived. More pillows could have been provided I did bring for my children but not adults. The first night not a problem but the second night was hard to sleep, a lot of noise coming from upstairs at late hours of the night or early hours of the morning waking the adults up frequently. Was a little dusty.
