A stressful start to the weekend but was a lovely break

In a lovely location close to pubs and restaurants

− Took hour and a half to get in as given wrong key code on a really hot day wasn’t ideal the heating was on when we finally got in and kept coming on all weekend no way to turn it off the hot tub was lovely and location was lovely also only 2 teaspoons and the smallest baking trays to cook on

The caravan was very clean and well presented on arrival. The location is excellent, with everything you need close by and a great atmosphere around the site. The hot tub was a real highlight and a great added bonus, making the stay feel that bit more special. Overall, it’s a convenient and enjoyable place to stay, especially for families.

− The caravan was generally comfortable and the kids slept really well in their beds. However, the double bed definitely needs a new mattress, as we could feel the springs even through the topper, which made it an uncomfortable few night sleep for the adults. Also, there was no mop provided.

Our second stay and it won’t be our last!

This was our second stay at 41 The Meadows and it was just as good as the first time! As a family of 6, it is a great space for us all and the added bonus of being able to bring our dogs made it a real family getaway. The highlight was the hot tub and we found it even more enjoyable this time in November than we did when we visited in summer - even sitting in the rain! We bring our own food with us and eat in the caravan as we find it easier than eating out we our son who has autism, there was plenty of space for us all and the added bonus on an air fryer was a welcome addition. The location of the caravan was quiet. We didn’t buy entertainment passes as we ate at the caravan and made full use of the hot tub and didn’t feel the need to buy the passes. A lovely relaxing weekend had by us all and we will definitely be looking to return again next year.

− We didn’t stay even one night. Not clean, outside or in. Carpet in living room not even hoovered. No instructions for anything, in particular hot tub. Some appliances not working and dangerous. Called Booking.com and got a full refund.
