1.0− At the time, the property was advertised on the website with features such as "Units" and "Off-Street Parking", among other things — none of which actually existed. It was nothing like what was described. We stayed for less than five minutes and then left. I requested a refund from the owner, which never came. I lodged a complaint with Booking.com, they contacted the owners, the owners chose to do nothing except update their website description by removing what made us select this accommodation. I cannot recommend this place. Even though the listing may now be more accurate, if anything goes wrong, I have no confidence that you’ll receive the appropriate support. I’ve been using Booking.com since it first launched — this is the first time something has gone wrong, and it went very badly. Finally I appeal to the owners to do the right thing, we selected your place to use one of your units, which didn't exist, which at the time was advertised, the "Units" was just a bedroom in your house, we never stayed, please choose to do the right thing and refund our money.
Personable and comfortable stay in a lovely home
10.0Great location - we walked everywhere. Lovely street - shade for car. Janette and Robert very hospitable and we felt very comfortable using the facilities in their home. Sharing the bathroom worked well. Also, Swan Hill is an immaculate town with lots of places to eat, even on a Monday evening. Good talking to 'locals' about the town and area around.
