I liked the stay a lot. Me and my mom were traveling, all comforts were taken care off. They provided us authentic Tamil food for lunch and dinner at a very nominal cost. The property is clean and very well maintained . People who want the taste of real Tanjore ancient houses, should consider this great stay option. The property location is highly accessible and close by to both Brihadeeswarar temple and the Tanjavur junction.

We had a wonderful stay at this homestay. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The property has a beautiful heritage touch with a charming ambiance that makes you feel connected to the local culture while enjoying all the comforts of home. The homemade food was delicious, and the peaceful surroundings made it a perfect place to relax. One of the most memorable parts of our stay was being invited to a baby shower that was being celebrated there. The hosts made us feel like part of their family, and it truly felt like attending a function in our own home. Their genuine hospitality and kindness made our experience even more special. A special mention to Rajan, who went above and beyond to make our trip memorable. He made sure we visited all the important temples and recommended the best places to eat based on our preferences. If you’re visiting without a fixed itinerary, Rajan is the best guide you could ask for. His knowledge of the local area and thoughtful recommendations made our trip smooth, enjoyable, and truly unforgettable. I highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for authentic hospitality, a beautiful heritage stay, and a memorable travel experience. We would love to visit again!

Fantastic experience at Kanna Nivas ! The hosts were very warm and the food was just prefect and very homely. The heritage ambience was great and we got some beautiful photos as well. A must try for those coming to Tanjavur. They accommodated early check in for us at 0530AM amd it was very convenient for us !
