Beautiful cabin, fantastic location, and a wonderful stay.
10.0We had a fantastic stay at Hares Retreat – Middle Cabin. The cabin was spotless, cosy, and very well equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable weekend. The location is peaceful and beautiful, making it the perfect place to relax after a day exploring the Peak District. We especially loved sitting outside in the evening and enjoying the quiet surroundings.

10.0The position, the facilities and the thought that had gone into creating the area. Great views, and a short walk to an excellent pub/restaurant.
− Nothing, really. It would be a bonus to have a small (half acre?) enclosed dog-walking/running area. The choice of micro-grade gravel for the sitting area at the cabins doesn't work. It gets walked into the cabin even when shoes are religiously removed. Very minor comments on an excellent site.
Idyllic. Great little getaway, very comfortable and cosy with a lovely village pub nearby.
