The villa was in excellent condition and very well maintained. The pool area was especially impressive — spacious, clean, and perfect for relaxing. Communication with the host was also excellent. Overall, a wonderful stay and highly recommended.

Spacious, Comfortable Villa in a Perfect Location – With Just a Few Minor Improvements Needed

The villa was very spacious, clean, and secure, with all the amenities we needed. Great location: close to a shopping center (with excellent restaurants like Medium Rare Steakhouse and Happy Rajah), supermarkets, and Black River Marina for excursions. Well-designed bedrooms: large master with walk-in wardrobe and ensuite, plus two additional bedrooms and multiple bathrooms. Spacious living room and kitchen with plenty of storage and a big fridge, making cooking easy. Useful washroom with dishwasher and washing machine. Outdoor area: big garden, outdoor bar with grill and sink, dining area, and a good-sized pool. Large driveway with electric gate, and the villa is within a secure gated community. Host was very responsive via WhatsApp, arranging quick fixes and finding a replacement cleaner. No major pest problems, helped by good kitchen design and plastic clips provided for open food. Memorable wildlife experiences with flying foxes in the evenings and bright green geckos around the villa. Fair price for the quality, space, and location.

− Arrival was stressful due to late access instructions, internet issues, and confusion with the villa name (“Kew” instead of 36) and Google Maps location. Gate code confusion: the provided code didn’t work for the gate, only the villa. Outdoor areas could have been cleaner: pool often had dirt and leaves, sunbed cushions were dirty and full of insects, and outdoor seat cushions were also not maintained. The grill was very dirty and hadn’t been cleaned for a long time—we had to spend the first day thoroughly cleaning it. Panic alarm not explained in advance, which we accidentally triggered. Hot water runs on gas, which ran out once during the stay (though it was quickly replaced). Cleaner situation was a little inconsistent at the start (previous cleaner had quit), with some leftover laundry in the washroom.
