Modern 2BR near Tower Bridge

The beds were good, the shower too. Bedrooms and bathroom were clean. The apartment was not too far from the underground station, a 10-15 minute walk. Living room was small but comfortable. Kitchen is well equiped.

− The bathroom light could not be switched on, one lamp on the nightstand was not functioning (electrical cord to short to reach the socket), slow response when I tried to contact the owner and nothing was done about it. There was still laundry in the moldy washer, from the previous guests(?) And we heard the neighbors having a lot of fun in the bedroom….

− El piso necesita algunas reformas y no estaba del todo limpio. Apenas dejaron gel en el baño y papel higiénico insuficiente para 4 días.

It is located in a quiet neighborhood, close to the metro, you have restaurants, pubs, shops around.

− The pictures have nothing to do with reality. The cleanliness leaves much to be desired, the dirty floor full of something sticky, everything related to shampoo, soap and dishwashing detergent is seriously diluted (now they are gone, because I bought others). It smells of dampness really bad. The key broke when I tried to open the door. Abraham was a nice guy and came very quickly and changed it. In return, Fiona asked me for this operation 25 pounds which is exaggerated. It's not my fault that that key was thin and worn. I didn't pay for it because it was unfair.

Recommended but need some improvement

We stayed for two nights. The place (beds, bathroom, kitchen, etc.) was clean and recently renovated. The kitchen was well-equipped with clean, modern utensils. It comfortably accommodates four people without feeling crowded. While the location isn’t very close to major tourist attractions, it’s convenient if you enjoy walking. Otherwise, the metro and bus stations are nearby and easy to use. There are also plenty of supermarkets in the neighbourhood for groceries and other essentials. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to others.

− The flat had a noticeable smell, which seemed like mold. We didn’t spend much time inside, so it was tolerable, but it would be great if the host could address this issue. The kitchenware was sufficient for four people, but unfortunately, there weren’t enough bath towels for everyone. I also expected hand towels and a clean foot towel in the bathroom—the one provided had a bleach stain. In addition, clearer instructions for collecting the key and finding the exact address would have been helpful. We spent at least 20 minutes trying to locate the correct building. I tried calling the host but received no answer; however, I did get a response via text. Finally, there is a large hole in the floor right at the building entrance. It’s currently covered with a carpet, but it's very dangerous and should be repaired immediately.
