A lovely stay for work, with an excellent host

I stayed with Jose for a total of 4 weeks in March/early April, across two separate stays. Jose was a gracious host, and made me very welcome during my stay. As I was travelling for work, the internet access in the room was especially important, and it was flawless. For the few days that I did work from home, I had everything I needed, including a mouse in the desk drawers! The AppleTV loaded with almost every streaming service in the room was amazing for relaxing after work too! The kitchen was equipped with everything you need to cook for yourself, and Jose makes it clear that all of the utensils, plates, cups etc. are shared between he and his guests, so there is no shortage of clean, high-quality crockery and cookware. While I was in Valencia, I had some family/friends come to visit. Jose graciously allowed them to stay in his granddaughter's room, for a very reasonable price. My mum stayed for almost a week, and left the review below: "My son is staying with Jose for work, and he said I could stay in Jose's granddaughter's room. It was an amazing 6 night stay in Jose's spotless apartment and incredibly good value. The kitchen had a good range of pans and other equipment for home cooked meals, a coffee maker and a range of basic food items. The bathroom was very clean and had everything we needed. I slept very well and was gently woken at my requested time by the in-house ambient music. My son and I could use the sitting room and enclosed terrace as well, and Jose was very good about giving us privacy when we wanted it, but being on hand for queries and deep conversations on other occasions. I'm pleased to report that his crepes are out of this world. I would definitely visit again. Thanks Jose for being such an excellent host!"

Quality shared apartment and excellent value

Jose, the host was incredibly attentive and made sure I felt at home and showed me around the local area - this was over and above the expected. His apartment (he lived there also) was immaculate and decorated/designed to a very high modern standard. Everything was provided to a high quality standard. I had bedroom with private bathroom and freedom to use apartment facilities including excellent kitchen and terrace dining room. Exceptional thought had been put into his guest's needs. I did have to telephone on arrival to let Jose know where I was as the gated complex with the apartments was not immediately obvious from the street but he came to meet me.

− Some way out of the city centre but public transport available and the accommodation was far cheaper than city. The only thing missing I noted was a litter bin in bedroom or bathroom but when I pointed this out Jose determined to provide this. This cannot really be a dislike but since the apartment was so beautifully laid out, clean and pristine it did cross my mind that if I stayed for any length of time I would be nervous about disrupting or dirtying anything.

Very nice place and a friendly host. Wheelchair accessible 👌. Will be coming back again for sure.
