We had a great holiday but there were quite a few issues at the property that needed addressing.
8.0We loved the position by the water, we were there during the May heatwave so it was great to have the water close by. We loved the layout of the property. We liked the vibe of Lower Mill Estate. Loved my salt rub at The Spa.
− Garden furniture jaded. Not enough outdoor seating at The Balihoo. Dishwasher needed attention, some of the outdoor ornaments needed throwing away. Outdoor tap jammed. Needs a review of all bathroom fixtures and fittings, some broken and shelves tilting. Fire Risk Assessment needs reviewing to make sure fire safety measures are in line with legislation. Lovely property but needs some TLC to bring it up to scratch. The day we went to use the outdoor pool it was closed for cleaning. The outdoor pool at the Spa was closed for refurb.
Great house for a large group, would love to go back
10.0Lovely property with great views over the lake. Well equipped with everything you could need. Loved the different outdoor seating areas too, would definitely return.
All in all we were very pleased with the accommodation and location and it was good value for money

− A couple of appliances didn't work and the outdoor area and furniture wasn't clean enough to sit on. When reported, Habitat Escapes offered to make it right and provided solutions. There were a few wasps inside the property but due to high ceilings they weren't easy to remove.
