− The bunk bed mattress was very uncomfortable.
Truly disappointing

− This property was listed with a tennis court. It had none and no facilities close by to be able to use either. It was chosen as the longest stay for our party exactly for that reason. In compensation on a booking which cost us over three and a half thousand dollars they offered us 168 dollar refund. It has taken over a month for this to be confirmed and the money has not yet gone through. This property was the most expensive of our whole holiday but was very much below par when compared to every other stay we had in NZ over our four week trip. ( see other listings) I had to give it a thorough hoover, dust and mop all the floors. The barbecue was not cleaned and the glass oven door shattered when we tried to use it on the first night instead. So our oven was out of action for our whole stay. Te Arnau is a great place from which to see both Sounds and explore the area. But this stay, which I had booked and expected to be our holiday highlight was very disappointing.
