Wunderbares Haus in Fort Augustus
10.0Sehr gemütlich und komfortabel eingerichtet, man fühlt sich rasch wie zu Hause. Eignet sich auch für regnerische Tage. Man kann sehr gut zu Fuss ins Dörfchen Fort Augustus gehen.
Quality place within walking distance to Loch Ness
10.0Excellent location - a walking distance from the centre of Fort Augustus and there are pleasant walks in the woods nearby. Although the house is on the main road and there is a car repair workshop on the other side of the road, it is not noisy. It is actually not as exposed as it looks in the picture, the front lawn is much smaller, there are hedges and trees. The mattress in the main bedroom is firm and very comfortable. The other bedroom has two beds - a double and a single and for some privacy there is a foldable wooden partition if required. The kitchen is fully equipped (except a microwave), there is even a Magic Bullet blender and a draw full of spices. We were able to use the fireplace in the living room which made our stay even cosier. Quality shampoo, hair conditioner, soaps, dishwashing and laundry detergents were provided. Double sink in the bathroom is definitely a bonus. Overall the house is very clean. We would happily stay there again. We also appreciate the host’s flexibility with the checkout time.
