A well‑located, comfortable cottage with good facilities and clear communication from the owners.
9.0The cottage is in an ideal location in a quiet village, with a local shop and pub and only a short drive from Cartmel. It was very peaceful. The cottage was clean, well equipped and comfortable. The secure back garden was nice and safe for our little dog and it was a nice sun-trap looking out to a field. Bedrooms were a good size, the main bathroom had a large bath and separate shower, and the downstairs toilet was useful. WiFi worked well throughout the stay. Communication from the owners was clear and helpful. Would recommend.
− We would have liked to be able to control the heating temperature ourselves without having to contact the owner to change it for us - but this was only a minor inconvenience.
