− Old dirty furniture. Spider webs everywhere. No furniture on veranda.
Beautiful location and very peaceful stay
9.0There's a lot to like about this stay. The great room is open to the ocean. The sound of the waves is very peaceful and it has beautiful views. We loved the location. It was easy to access town or the beach. The kitchen is well stocked. there's a small refreshing pool. They kept the place supplied with clean towels and H2O.
− Unfortunately for those with knee or balance issues there are a lot of stairs and little no handrails, but that's true of the whole town. The beautiful open air livingroom - kitchen resulted in everything feeling damp. It was cloudy all but one day, so perhaps that wouldn't be a problem in a sunnier week. The hot water in the shower is a bit difficult to figure out.

9.0As far as rentals in Yelapa, you could not ask for a better location. Situated right between town and the big beach, on a particularly charming stretch of road. The balcony hangs further over the ocean than anywhere in town. Every morning we would wake up and watch eagle rays and schools of fish swim below. There is a little stand selling beer and homemade fruit popsicles basically right across the street. The pool was unheated, but really nice and refreshing after a long walk or time in the sun. The decor was nice, and the open air concept was so fun (the crashing waves were so loud and nice to sleep to!) as long as you don't mind some bugs that will be attracted to any food/garbage you leave out. It is worth it for the ambiance.
− The beds were incredibly firm. Our group all agreed that while we don't normally mind a firm mattress, these were exceptionally hard. It is probably personal preference, but we woke up pretty stiff every morning.
