It was a perfect place for us

Self catering so breakfast was delicious!!! Teapot with a cosy..best ever! 😀 The quirky nature of the property. The thoughtfulness of the hosts. The location for walking on the North Yorkshire Moors.

As self catering one or two Pyrex dishes for oven and microwave use would have been good

Cute country cottage

10.0

Location was perfect, lovely country village with horses, cows, sheep and hens. Cottage was absolutely gorgeous, fantastic facilities and very comfy bed. Small closed in area for our dog. Hosts were very friendly. Fantastic part of the world to explore. Would definitely like to return.

Nothing all was perfect.

Beautiful little retreat with lovely hosts.

The Snug was exactly as described. Very clean and cozy as well as beautiful decorated. We received a lovely warm welcome from Richard and Lynn, including milk, orange juice, biscuits and fresh eggs. Although in a quiet setting, the property was very convenient for travelling around the area.

The stairs were very steep and awkward at the top. However we were warned beforehand that this was the case and we soon got used to it.

Great location in a charming village. Beautiful cottage with log burner fire and all the essentials needed for a self catering stay. Hosts Lynn and Richard were very welcoming.

Nothing, we loved it!

Good to know

The cottage was built in the mid 1800s and has some characterful features remaining, including the staircase to the bedroom which is slightly narrow and tight at the top turn. Shouldn't be a problem for most but please look at the photos provided if you have any concerns re access. This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.
