One of the best equipped kitchens ever! Usually holiday houses like this provide the most basic of kitchen equipment but not Jeffrey River Retreat. Every gadget imaginable. The location is lovely and peaceful with easy access to Yamba Fair and Yamba itself. Having the pontoon was great for our doggo's who enjoyed their swim and the fish were biting!

− There are no window coverings whatsoever so the house does not cool efficiently as it should especially as it faces west into the afternoon sun - the air con struggled to cool when all sections were on. The midges were not so friendly either. We would like to see a better quality vacuum cleaner available to guests and appropriate broom for sweeping up grass and dog hair that gets tracked inside. The beautiful tiled floor needs to be kept free of foot traffic debris to walk across, so a good quality vacuum and broom will solve this.

Great location. Spacious and very clean.

− No window coverings (curtains/blinds). So a very early wake up and no privacy from the neighbours. The property needs to sort this especially as they are about to start building opposite. The property would definately benefit from kayaks, paddle boards or kayaks.

Everything!! Perfect location, beautiful environment & worth every cent. We were here for 7 days & enjoyed everyday. The house is well maintained & equipped. From the beautiful sunsets & daily dolphin visits, i would definitely recommend staying here.

− The only thing i can fault was the upstairs bedroom staircase, the railing doesn’t go all the way up. My mother who has balance issues didn’t feel very safe. In saying that there is really not much you can fault.
