A wonderful week in a beautiful cottage close to superb coastal scenery. We may well re-book it for a week next year.
10.0Recently refurbished and furnished to a very high standard, Mill Lodge is well located among a cluster of cottages less than two miles from the lovely old harbour and village of Solva. We had three circular walks which included beautiful clifftop stretches of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. We also visited nearby St David’s a couple of times, including a visit (during a wet afternoon!) to its beautiful cathedral where we had lunch. We visited Picton Castle and wandered in its lovely grounds. On one day we drove to south Pembrokeshire, stopping in Narbeth for a browse in its interesting shops, before having lunch and a walk at the National Trust’s Colby Woodland Garden, near Amroth; then onwards to Tenby to wander around the old walled town and have an evening meal. A wonderful week.
− The only problem with the cottage was a small leak or condensation dripping from the velux-style window in the twin bedroom’s en-suite

10.0We loved the light from the picture windows, the beautiful greenery outside, the stream, the comfortable and tasteful furnishings, the peaceful surroundings and the adjacency to a gorgeous shop and cafe at the Mill next door!
