A welcome retreat during a super hot week
8.0The cottage was perfectly located in walking or driving distance of the beach. It was spacious throughout with comfortable beds and huge sofa in the living room. Towels, washing liquid, loo rolls etc were all provided. Our host kindly arranged an off street parking spot as the street was busy.
− We haven’t stayed anywhere with so many personal items around and cupboards full of it which felt a bit odd - but shows it’s not a company letting. I hadn’t noted there wasn’t a dishwasher which was a surprise but my bad. I’d only suggest a cafetière and more good sized glasses. We would happily stay again - these are small observations and not a deal breaker at all.
Lovely Charmouth house. Good value but could be improved.
8.0Location was good close to the centre of the village. The kitchen/dining area was lovely with a door leading into a small garden. The beds were comfortable and bedrooms were quite big. We liked having a separate shower room downstairs.
− Parking was difficult. It was not possible to park on the street outside the house. The crockery/cutlery/equipment was mixed and it would have been difficult to cook for 5 or 6 people with what there was. We could have used another couple of towels. The shower wasn't very clean.

We enjoyed a lovely lovely break and an ideal opportunity to meet family.
8.0Location excellent close to beach, pubs and local shop. Easy to get to Lyme Regis, Bridport, West Bay with Beer not far away.
− Parking could be better especially with a number of vans/builders working on nearby properties competing for spaces. That said we always managed to find a space.
A fun weekend full of home comfort x

9.0Le cottage avec beau jardin clos et terrasse, Très bien équipé avec produits d'entretien et aspirateur à disposition, Spacieux et calme, confortable La proximité de la plage.
− La saleté de la vaisselle et des ustensiles qu'il a fallu laver pour pouvoir s'en servir. Nous préparions nos repas sur place. Nous avons du passer l'aspirateur dans la maison à notre arrivée et nettoyer la table extérieure pleine de crottes d'oiseaux. Mais séjour toutefois très agréable.
