J’ai aimé la superficie du logement, l’emplacement et le contact avec l’hôte. J’ai aimé aussi les lampes de chevet qui avaient des ports usb et type c c’est très pratique ainsi que les rangements dans toutes les pièces. La propreté était aussi correcte. J’ai adoré voir les écureuils dans les arbres on ne s’y attendait pas c’était super.

− Il manque des torchons et des tapis pour les sorties de douche et nous avons eu un problème avec l’eau chaude à deux reprises pendant le séjour. Également pour 8 personnes il manquait un peu de vaisselle. Le chauffage, la plaque induction et la terrasse n’étaient pas fonctionnelle à notre arrivée c’est dommage. Il faudrait préciser que la maison est sur plusieurs étages. Il y avait aussi un tableau posé au sol dans l’entrée je pense que le logement vient d’être rénové.

− Diverse cose all interno della casa non hanno funzionato. La lavastoviglie non era fissata al muro e cadeva in avanti, la caldaia si bloccava una volta al giorno, entrambi i bagni avevano erano privi di detergenti. Un solo asciugamano a persona non è sufficiente per 5 giorni

The property itself is beautiful, spacious, and exactly as advertised. It's a real shame because the house bas so much potential, but our experience with the host meant we couldn't fully enjoy our stay.

− We booked this property over two months in advance, yet the day before check-in the host attempted to move our booking to different dates instead of honouring the original reservation. As we hadn’t agreed to this change, I contacted Booking.com customer service, who informed me that changing the booking in this way was a breach of their policy. Following their intervention, the original booking dates were reinstated. This caused a huge amount of unnecessary stress for what was supposed to be a birthday celebration planned months in advance. During our conversations before the stay, the host made comments about people travelling from Croydon/South London for weekend bookings, suggesting they often throw parties and disturb the neighbours. Despite repeatedly explaining that we were simply celebrating my birthday, had no intention of hosting a party, and were happy to follow every house rule, I felt we were judged before we had even arrived. The communication became increasingly unprofessional. At one stage, the host messaged me saying: “Just take your five friends to your own home in Croydon if you are going to eat out and go clubbing anyway! I just cannot be dragged out of bed in the middle of the night to make house calls.” I found this message unnecessary and inappropriate, particularly as we had consistently communicated respectfully and had repeatedly reassured her that we would abide by the rules. Once we arrived, it felt as though our stay was being constantly monitored. Following a noise complaint at around 7am, the host contacted us with sarcastic comments such as, “Do you guys not sleep?” and asked whether we’d “been up all night.” Rather than addressing the situation professionally, these remarks felt patronising and only added to the uncomfortable atmosphere. There were also so many restrictions that it became difficult to relax.

It was a beautiful property, very spacious, comfortable, a lot of things were also provided by the host which was appreciated.

− Nothing major the property could control, but it was extremely hot but again the weather was pretty extreme and there were only heat setting options for the house and a majority of the fans weren’t working.
