A gem of a cottage, ideal for bigger groups
7.0A beautiful cottage in a great location for exploring New Forest and the coast. We stayed over a very hot weekend and really appreciated the pool and cool interior of house. Having shop next door is handy. Very comfortable beds and lots of space for group of eight. Kitchen generally well equipped but more teaspoons please!
− Rayburn was a real issue as we cooked dinner every night. Very slow to heat up and difficult to manage heat of hot plates. This property would really be enhanced by more efficient hob and oven. Noted mattress toppers and duvets needed a wash when we stripped beds before we left. Board game selection limited but we had brought our own!

A simply charming cottage that you must visit
10.0Everything you need is here within the grounds. We had a complete mix of weather. We were lucky during the day with the family playing in and around the pool. Later on chilling in the hot tub while the BBQ is going. By the evenings the weather had changed and the rain came. It wasn’t a problem because inside the cottage is beautiful with loads of board games to play.

10.0The beds were comfortable and the place was very clean. I also like the fact that the cottage provided little things such as bin bags, sponges washing up liquids etc and lots of plates and cooking equipment.
− The hot water in one of the bedrooms upstairs was very hot and could not use the shower. I have noticed this same issues from the previous reviews. It was hard to figure how to use the cooker but in the end we managed to use it.
