4.0The home was clean. Access and communication with the owner was excellent!
− Unfortunately, there were a lot of things that went wrong for our stay. We booked the property for 8 adults and 1 child. On arrival, there were only accommodations for 7. There are beds enough for 7 people, 2 double beds and 2 twins (bunk bed) and a couch. While there were sleeping mats available for the other 2, there were no sheets available and the kids had to make do with wearing long sleeves to bed. There is only one shower available for the whole house and that day the instant water heater did not work. The owner was Leora was notified of these events and truly I feel like she was embarrassed and upset by our situation. However, it still made for an uncomfortable stay. Finally, the location was absolutely not ideal for us. The whole area is under varying degrees of construction and ultimately is unsightly and not a nice place to walk around. The Lakeshore itself seems like a very fun area. However, once our driver dropped us off there was no options to get there easily at night. We were traveling with my elderly parents and they were not comfortable with the distance. This would have been remedied if we had our own transportation. However, we did not, and we were essentially trapped there until our pickup the next day. At this price point I could have booked 6 rooms at a nearby RedDoorz and been in walking distance to all our basic needs. I think our driver slept better that night. Sorry Leora, we won’t be back until significant upgrades are made.

10.0Booked this for my family, they really enjoyed their stay at this house. It's close to Lakeshore, a great place for family and kids, especially during Christmas. The house is clean, easy to find, and has good WiFi and working appliances. Everything matched what was advertised. I'll definitely recommend it to others. The host was very helpful and responsive and considerate to requests, making my family’s stay even better! 😊
