Hotel North Woods - Best Boutique Hotel in Haldwani

Rooms were clean, food was good, but staff forced to go to room at 10, not very safe feeling.

Food was good, overall property was calmer, lots of nature.

− There is a need for a lot of improvement on staff training. staff kept coming at 10 PM in the room to clear dinner / room dues. Their excuse was that the owners ask to clear dues before the end of day. On this day, I had already slept but had to wake up again due to this behaviour of the staff. Second day, in the morning itself, I clarified to staff that no one shall come to my room at night (as I was travelling with my spouse and small kid). Still, staff came to collect dues for dinner at around 10:00 PM while the food was ordered around 8:30 PM. Owner needs to work on this, i may not prefer to stay again or recommend anyone as i, my family didn't feel very safe.

Nothing. It was too much high price with low quality

− The room size is so small for the value. There ia not even a wardrobe to keep things in the room. Aircondition was very bad. There not even hangers to hang the clothes. There is no place to keep soap or stand in the washroom to keep soap. Toilet was very bad. They included breakfast in the package, but breakfast is only ready by 9am and we couldnt do breakfast because we had to leave at 8am. Accessibility to property is so narrow and we had to walk from and to mainroad. Totally really unhappy to spend 3700/- for such a bad hotel.

The property is located ina very scenic place and the staff is exceptionally kind and above all the food is outstanding, the view from the rooftop restaurant is gorgeous.

− The access road can water need substantial improvement

The staff was very accommodating. We were allowed to checkin post mid-night and check-out at 4.30am. The food was also good. The hotel is located in a valley and the views from the rooms as well as restaurant are good.

− The rooms have no heating options. So it isn’t ideal for winter months when we were staying.

The delicious food along with the beautiful scenery really made my stay the most enjoyable ever. The rooms were comfortable and the service provided was satisfactory.

− Finding the parking of the stay could be made a tad bit easier.

Nice hotel! Great hotel. Everything was nice. Me and my colleagues would surely choose it again. If you want to explore Nainital or Kanchi Dham in Uttarakhand, then it's a great location to stay at Nort Woods. It's in the middle of nature, comfortable rooms with great service and friendly staff. Good value for the money. Food was delicious. Very comfortable. Would definitely recommend Thank you!" Nearby areas to explore: Bhimtal, Nainital, Kanchi Dham, Almora, and Ranikhet, Mukteshwar.
