9.0We had a wonderful stay at Tranquilo Lodge overall and would absolutely recommend it. The setting is truly spectacular — the views are breathtaking, the rooms are beautiful and very comfortable, and the overall atmosphere feels peaceful and well curated. What stood out the most was the quality of the service: the staff were exceptionally warm, attentive, and genuinely excellent at customer care. We also really appreciated the flexibility at checkout — being allowed to check out at 2pm at no extra cost was a thoughtful gesture. Dinner was consistently excellent, lunch was overall good but could be slightly improved (sometimes very good, sometimes not very healthy). The diving excursion was fantastic.
− Make sure you receive the excursion details to avoid any confusion - The only issue during our stay involved an excursion booked through the lodge. We hadn't received a detailed itinerary in advance, which led to a misunderstanding with the guide, who had not checked the details and thought we were continuing on to the San Pedrillo entry in Corcovado Park—even though no entry tickets had been purchased. As a result, we were temporarily stranded there while he arranged a return boat and then a taxi, resulting in about 1.5 hours of lost time. Additionally, when the situation arose, the lodge was unavailable to help, leaving the guide to sort it out on his own. I also recommend asking about the boat in advance, as their website currently states you can take a public boat to Drake Bay: "Take the public boat from Sierpe to Bahia Drake." However, in reality, they require you to choose a specific boat from the available options. The owners proactively offer add-ons throughout your stay — well-intentioned, though it can feel frequent and commercial in such a beautiful and natural place. That said, aside from this logistical hiccup, the experience was excellent, and the hospitality truly stood out. The location, service quality, and overall atmosphere make this a very special place, and we left with very positive memories of our stay.

10.0Ensemble de la prestation parfait - on a eu du mal a partir car on s´est senti ¨comme à la maison¨. Personnel attentif et dédié au bien être des clients. l´alimention est très variée et très bonne. Petits déjeuners à la carte !! TOP!! Les petits détails de la déco, le travail omnis présents des deux patrons ont aussi fait la différence. Merci encore Christophe et Sébastien !!
