El corazon de Grassano
10.0La casa, ubicada en la planta baja, es amplia y muy agradable. Amueblado cada ambiente con buen gusto y todo lo necesario para disfrutarlos. La cocina merece especial recomendación ya que tiene todo los utensilios y artefactos que se puede desear disponer para cocinar como en casa. El establecimiento esta muy limpio y ordenado, cuenta con lavadero de ropa instalado para usarlo en caso que sea necesario. Todo perfecto, pero si surgiera algún contratiempo esta la inmensa amabilidad de los propietarios, Alberto y Elvira que estarán atento a las necesidades, para solucionarlo. La casa está ubicado céntricamente en Grassano y desde el balcón del dormitorio se tiene una preciosa vista de las colinas y valle que rodean Grassano. Cabe destacar que en la planta superior esta el lugar donde se alojó Carlo Levi durante una parte de su confinamiento en Basilicata. Volveré seguramente en cualquier futura visita que haga a la Basilicata.

10.0La casa è molto grande e pulita, la presenza discreta di Alberto rassicurante. Potendo, il soggiorno può essere reso unico e indimenticabile per la presenza di un museo sulla presenza di Carlo Levi in confino a Grassano, dove passò qualche settimana proprio alla casa/locanda Prisco! Alberto ha avuto la gentilezza di guidarci con passione in questo interessantissimo percorso museale, riuscendo a coinvolgere tre adolescenti come guide dei più grandi musei europei non erano mai riusciti a fare...

Beautiful historical house with stunning views and a helpful host.
10.0Beautifully maintained period property in Grassano, plenty space and well equipped with everything we needed; spotlessly clean. There are several balconies from which to enjoy the stunning view. Two shower-rooms was very handy with the four of us. There is also air con and WiFi so all of our needs were met. The owners are wonderful, friendly and helpful people who live upstairs and lovingly care for this house. Fascinating to learn that Caro Levi lived in this house during his exile in the 1930s and the owner maintains a small museum about him next door. This is unique historical building and we feel honoured to have been able to stay here. And the price was extremely modest too. Grassano is a lovely, buzzy little town, with only a few tourists. We loved sitting in the town square having pizza at night with all the local families. From here we visited Matera which was amazing cave town, and Pietrapertosa from where the pluckier members of our family did the Flight of the Angels.
