A lovely retreat in a rustic location with great access to two different beaches

The location is both rustic and serene. Mermejita beach, which is beautiful for a long meditative walk, is just a few steps away; and Rinconcito beach, which is much more swimmable and has more restaurant options, is just a 10 minute hike on a footpath over a small hill. That footpath also leads onto Punta Cometa, which is incredibly popular for watching sunsets and is very pleasant for an early morning walk. Access to Mermejita beach and the cabaña is down a fairly rough unpaved track, but I found it perfectly manageable on a rented scooter. The Cabaña itself provided a lovely retreat. Benjamin was very helpful and attentive. I enjoyed hanging out on the hammock under the shade during the heat of the day. Just around the corner is an interesting coffee shop with a dance/theatre space. I would definitely choose to stay here again when visiting Mazunte.

− Benjamin did provide me hot water for making coffee in the mornings, but a having a kettle would have been simpler.

It’s such a beautiful and quiet location so close to the beach but away from the hustle and bustle of the main town. Benjamin is attentive and always available. The filtered water in the room is great.

− Nothing. But having an electric kettle would have been an added bonus.

Lovely short stay

Great location, right on the beach and blended into nature. Private and safe, also private parking. You can immediately walk in to the nature reserve.

− Basic, what you see is what you get. No warm water.

− Un peu loin du centre mais la plage Mermejita à deux pas est un parfait lot de consolation. Aucun accès à une petite cuisine pour se faire des petits plats
