1.0There was nothing at all we could find that we liked so, unfortunately we decided we could not stay here which was a massive problem after a very long journey to reach the area. We discovered upon arrival that this is an empty house which is up for sale. We booked two single beds but found we were in bunk beds. We also found a man who was also staying having been told previously it was just us staying. The house is not a "peaceful home" as described. It does not have the most basic of requirements. For example, there is no lock on the bathroom door, the bathroom is downstairs. There is no toaster and the kitchen was too dirty to cook in. The pots to cook in were extremely old, stained and unusable. A major health and safety concern is that there is no handrail at all going up the very steep stairs. This was a major problem as I had clearly asked when I booked about disabled access and parking. The upstairs bedroom was, therefore, not accessible to me. We paid in advance which we will never do again as the owner has just kept our money even though it was so bad we couldn't stay.
− Everything was truly awful. The garden was an overgrown jungle. The kitchen was dirty. The kitchen lacked facilities. Having been told disabled access was good we found it was not as I could not access the bedroom allocated to us.
