Excellent stay in a less touristic area

Looks exactly like the pictures. Well renovated, nice view (except maybe the building lower in front) and close to everything. Also clear instructions and friendly staff, good pressure in the shower and coffee machine :) There was also a free parking in the street but I guess it could be more tricky in a busy period.

The apartment was well maintained, with a well equipped kitchen, and the balcony had a panoramic view. The complex was very quiet, and the bed was comfortable, so we slept soundly - the pool area was beautiful with lovely landscaped beds with succulents and cacti. The location could not be better. The staff were extremely kind and allowed us to check in early and to check out late. Overall, it was a very positive experience.

− The only thing unpleasany was a sewage smell coming from the toilet, especially in the mornings. it is also in the lobby area, This needs to be brought to the attention of the manager of the complex. It is by no means the host's fault. This was also mentioned in another review.

Good location for exploring the west and north of the island in a quieter beach resort.

The instructions and communications from the hosts were excellent - all very simple and clear. The view was good (albeit I think the "amazing" in the title is perhaps a stretch!). You can see La Gomera, and even La Palma on a clear day. Location was great - near to supermarket (HiperDino) and plenty of restaurants (albeit the quality of some of them are a bit hit and miss). Easy to get back onto main road (Alcala can be a bit slow) and either go North to Los Gigantes / North coast, into Teide National Park, or south towards Los Cristianos etc. Easy to park in the street, or in the locked car park (key included with the room) if required, which are next to the apartments.

− The apartment is strictly "non-smoking" - but the next door neighbour had a penchant for smoking on his balcony, which meant their fumes were blowing into our apartment (had to shut the balcony doors). The storage facilities were a little sparse (very little wardrobe hanging space and shelves/drawers for other clothes) - so this could possibly be improved. The bed mattress is very thin / hard - appreciate it is personal taste - but a more comfortable bed would be nice. The hot water system does take a long time to warm up - so unless you are very quick - 2 consecutive (hot) showers are not an option. Just need to wait about 30 minutes between showers to give it time to heat up again.
