10.0Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit tollem Panorama auf die Berge und man sieht auch ein Stück Meer. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Direkt am Haus kann man direkt Wanderungen in die umliegenden Berge starten. Der Gastgeber und seine Frau sind super nett und geben auch Tipps! Die Anfahrt ist ein bisschen spannend und man sollte kein tiefergelegtes oder zu schwer beladen es Auto haben. Zufahrt: Nur über Via Die Pontecchio! Alle anderen Google Pfade enden in engen Feldwegen ohne durchkommen. Zu Fuß ins Dorf (Option 2 ist besser): Ins Dorf gibt es zwei Wege, 1. den ziemlich geraden, wobei man teilweiße sehr dunkel und über die örtliche Wasserleitung läuft. 2. Der Straße die man mit dem Auto gekommen ist zurück folgen, bis man oberhalb des Hafens links in einen Fußweg einbiegt, aus dem dann schnell beleuchtete Treppen werden.
− Ein Fenster mit Mückengitter wäre schön, dass man abends mal das Bad oder die Küche ohne Mücken lüften kann. Die Beleuchtung könnte ein bisschen gemütlicher sein. Aber ansonsten alles super!

5.0Good, quiet location, in own private courtyard. Very helpful and friendly host. Good view to hills and possible to walk to the town/sea. Nicely refurbished.
− We were unlucky with our timing and Elba suffered unusual, very cold weather (about 4 degrees C, January 2023) and unfortunately the heating in the apartment was not able to make it warm enough inside to be really comfortable (and we have lived in the Alps for 20 years so we are used to the cold). In spring, summer and autumn, I'm sure it would be fine. The kitchen is good but was underequipped for self-catering with only one cooking pot and one frying pan (we asked the host to bring more) and very few utensils. The bed could do with a firmer mattress. Its a new rental, so I think the host will pick up on feedback and remedy the few negatives and in spring, summer or autumn this could be a great place to stay with a really nice, quiet garden and view.
